Today, the varied terroir and climate across Portugal allows a great range of wines to be made each year, from the fresh and dry Vinho Verde wines to the famous and widely drunk fortified Port wines, and many in between.

The 2024 Loureiro showcases the house profile of whites with a notable absence of fruit—it is serious, austere, mineral and earthy with contained ripeness and alcohol and good freshness and acidity. It was produced with grapes from 16-year-old vines on deep granite soils at 50 and 100 meters of altitude, part of them very close to the sea. The direct pressing of the grapes fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts at a slightly higher temperature and was kept two months with the fine lees but without bâtonnage. It didn't go through malolactic fermentation and has 11% alcohol, a pH of 3.2 and seven grams of acidity, with good balance. 28,680 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2025.

Winery Notes

Bright pale yellow citrus hue. A wine with the backbone of granite minerality, were the aromas dominated by fruits and flowers, including hints of lime and orange with the essential oils of their skins. the mouth attack has volume and a vibrant acidity, enhancing length and persistence.
