89-91 The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Ma Cuvée bursts with aromas of sweet cherries, red berries, plums and potpourri, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and charming palate that’s lively, fine-boned and pure. As usual, this cuvée derives from the south of the appellation, in contrast to the more structured “Cinq Terroirs” bottling Mortet produces for the family domaine.
