Since those times, a vast amount of Italian land has remained primarily for vine cultivation, and thousands of wineries can be found throughout the entire length and breadth of this beautiful country, drenched in Mediterranean sunshine and benefiting from the excellent fertile soils found there. Very fine tannins with polish and finesse, together succulence and mineral character. Medium-to full-bodied with a direct line through the middle of the wine. Wonderfully focused. Drinkable now, but better in 2024.

On the nose there are crushed violets, blue fruit, and the ash you could smell from an bare fireplace. The flavors of the wine are fresh but on the darker side of things as you get ripe blackberry, black tea, and foresty crispness. The tannins are rush to the outside of the palate with crisp acid that adds more mountainous vigor.
