A solid value from the Languedoc, the 2024 Languedoc Les Darons is based on 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, raised entirely in cement on the fine lees. Peppery red and black fruits, leafy herbs, crushed stone, and meaty, violet, and Cornas-like hints all define the aromatics. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with a balanced, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. Drink 2026-2030.

This elegant, beautifully perfumed red has sweet cherry and black raspberry fruits intermixed with ample spice, candied violets, and ground pepper. It's elegant, silky and seamless on the palate, with beautiful purity and an upfront, charming style.
