Tasted alongside the 2023, the 2020 Caiarossa pours a darker purple/red hue and comes across as more inward at this stage, with beautifully woven and layered aromatics of black plum, currant, forest earth, and dark chocolate. Full-bodied, it has even, ripe tannins and refreshing acidity, with a structured frame, compelling complexity, and good length. It has the depth and balance to age comfortably over the next 15 years.
