Classy peach kernel aroma with Corton Charlemagne-like elegance, full of flinty minerality, linden tree flowers and pink grapefruit. Delicate palate at first, showing concentration of fruit, weight and vibrancy with great harmony and balance. A tight-knit structure between fruit and acidity flows to a long, fruity, super-refreshing finish. 65% pinot bianco, 33% chardonnay and 2% sauvignon blanc. Drink now or hold for decades.
#18 in Top 100 Cellar Selections, 2025. Crafted with the same attention to detail as a Ferrari or a Gucci bag, this wine is sublime. Opening with aromas of warmed magnolia, peach pie, lemon candy and mountain herbs. The palate comes in waves as it crescendos and decrescendos with a complexity that only few wines in the world achieve. Skinned apples and pears lift with hints of mixed citrus zest as elements of spice and cream added a richness. Vibrant to the last drop, a wine that will shine for decades. Drink from 2026. (Cellar Selection)
A blend of 65% Pinot Bianco, 33% Chardonnay and 2% Sauvignon Blanc (added as a tiny fragrant accent), the Cantina Terlano 2021 Alto Adige Terlaner Grand Cuvée Primo (with 4,000 bottles made) is chiseled and sharp, like one of those giant ice statues you might find at a snowy Christmas market. Grapes are picked from sites with different growing conditions and elevations suited to each variety. Many elements are brought together in this stellar vintage to offer energy, freshness, minerality and length. It closes with a rich, silky white wine texture.
Mesmerising tropical mango, pineapple and melon cascade over the delicious grassy, floral undertones. Glistening with poise and elegance with a stunning mineral structure and citrus acidity: simultaneously rich and incredibly refreshing with an astonishing length. True perfection. (Platinum) - DWWA 2024
Intense and mineral from the start, the 2021 Terlaner I Primo Grande Cuvée opens with a beguiling blend of flint stones, camphor and white smoke, giving way to dried peaches and apricots. It sweeps across the palate, ripe in style yet refined, with silken textures, taking on a saline tinge as tart orchard fruits cascade throughout, complicated by a spicy hint of ginger. Long, long, long, the 2021 lingers on, youthfully tense and gently tannic, with a crunchy feel and sensation of liquid stone that remains under an air of pretty inner florals. The potential is off the charts. This is a l Primo for the ages.
A skein of fragrant spices and white flowers laces flavors of ripe pineapple, tangerine peel, white cherry and Marcona almond. Expressive and rich on the palate, but mouthwatering acidity creates a sleek and harmonious frame without excessive weight. This beautiful version is long and exuberant on the finish, where a minerally underpinning emerges to linger alongside the lovely profile. Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Drink now through 2034. 300 cases made, 58 cases imported.
