Succulent red cherry, plum, spice, blood orange, mint and a kiss of French oak are nicely pushed forward. Drink this effusive Nerello Mascalese over the next decade or so. This is an especially charming vintage for the Aeris Nerello Mascalese.

• Practicing Biodynamic. • 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Carignan. • 100% Estate from Centennial Mountain Vineyard (Sonoma County AVA). • Elevation 2,000 ft. • Metamorphic Franciscan shale, schist, and quartz. • Planted in 2013. • Hand-harvested. • Native yeast primary and malolactic fermentation. • Maceration was for 9 days with pumpovers twice a day before being pressed into barrels. • Aged 22 months in 10hL Cask and neutral barrel.
