A restrained but highly complex nose is comprised by ample yeast character on the aromas of brioche, baked apple and soft citrus scents. There is a really lovely mouth feel to the rich flavors that display an abundant mousse, indeed this is almost foamy, yet it is quite fine while delivering excellent length on the moderately dry finish that delivers the same outstanding complexity as the nose. This is a really interesting effort as it’s at once full-bodied yet refined and it’s evident that ample reserve stocks were used in this cuvée. Moreover, it’s extremely difficult to find this level of quality for the price and overall, this is highly recommended.
