The 2016 Belgrave has a high-toned bouquet with red and black fruit, liquorice and sandalwood coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy, ripe tannins, quite intense and dense, but there is more freshness and tension on the finish compared to the La Tour Carnet.
