An overtly floral-suffused nose freely reveals an earthy mix of red and blue pinot fruit along with background hints of anise. The sleek, delicious and vibrant middleweight flavors possess average density before terminating in a bitter pit fruit, moderately austere and sneaky long finish where the firm tannins are relatively fine-grained. This isn’t so structured that, in a pinch, it couldn’t be enjoyed young but it should definitely repay 7 to 10 years of keeping, which is what I would recommend.
