A perfumed, airy and cool nose features notes of poached plum, exotic tea, orange peel and a plethora of floral elements. The dense, powerful and imposingly-scaled large-bodied flavors possess excellent depth and persistence on the firm, compact and built-to-age finale. This robust effort just avoids rusticity, if not a mild austerity, in delivering outstanding length and balance. All this needs is another 6 to 10 years of keeping and it should be seriously good.
