The 2019 Destieux is packed with inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather, licorice and sweet oak. This flamboyant Saint-Émilion is all about immediacy and textural richness, both of which it has in spades, as well as the tannic grip of Cabernet Sauvignon, which is not often seen in Saint-Émilion.
