Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

An evocative nose full of fragrant blue and purple fruits with lots of floral aromatics – some cherry, cola, tobacco, aniseed and violets. Smooth and so succulent, an excellent weight in the mouth with the most uplifting acidity, juicy fruit and signature terroir markers of graphite, stones, pencil lead and oyster shell minerality. I love this. So finessed yet still packing plenty of flavour and depth. Extremely refined. A wine that has relaxed since Primeurs, becoming soft and just so appealing to drink. Really excellent. First vintage in the new cellars and with consultant Axel Marchal. New label also as of this vintage.
There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. The floral character of violets and lilacs comes out clearly on the nose with black fruits such as brambleberries. Medium-bodied, this has fine and creamy tannins and a savory finish. Crushed stone at the end as well as clean fruit. Shows plenty of potential for aging. A blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Drink after 2028.

The 2022 La Garde has a very appealing nose: blackberry, briar and light bay leaf scents unfold in the glass. The oak is beautifully integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, gentle grip and fine balance, although it loses some vigour in the glass, causing me to reduce my score. Winery Notes
Deeply intense, almost black and purple-tinged appearance, offering a complex, intense nose exuding roasted, smoky notes. Supple on the attack, the wine rapidly develops generous mouthful defined by lovely, expressive fruit, concentration and depth, underscored by delicate tannic structure; very smooth, despite the intensity. The appealing harmony is echoed in the long, flavoursome finish.
