Giving some 1GCC wines a run for their money, especially in more recent vintages, with more winemaking precision by talented co-owner Emilie Faniest. While there is high-toned acidity, reflecting the 85m-high vineyard atop the limestone plateau, the tannins are smoother than when I last encountered this vintage four years ago. Combining airy elegance and finesse, it leads to a long, cool, blue-fruit finish.
