The 2021 Sansonnet is a powerful, deep wine, as it always is. Strong limestone inflections drive through a core of black fruit, mocha, new leather, licorice, spice and crushed rocks. Today, bright acids dominate. I wouldn’t dream of touching a bottle anytime soon. Tasted two times.
