Deep and concentrated, but fresh and complex, with iodine, ink and graphite to the black fruit and minerals. Juicy, full-bodied and compact with tightly wound tannins and a bit more fruit flesh this year. A more balanced, eclectic Sociando-Mallet in other words, if you find the most of Sociando-Mallet a bit too structured with its stony tannins. 66% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 4% cabernet franc.
