92-94 The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits-Monts 1er Cru has a clean and precise bouquet with black cherries, crushed strawberries and violet scents, well defined if a little tighter than the 2022 was at this stage last year. The palate is medium-bodied with mineral-rich red fruit, lightly spiced with a dab of white pepper. Hints of dark chocolate decorate the finish. This is a classy Petits-Monts that will give 10 to 20 years of drinking pleasure.
