Oregon, Washington State and New York have all developed sophisticated and technologically advanced wine cultures of their own, and the output of U.S wineries is increasing each year as more and more people are converted to their produce.

The 2015 Collina Dalla Valle is a gorgeous entry-level wine from Naoko Dalla Valle. In 2015, the Collina is big, ample and voluptuous, with a bit more textural intensity than it often shows. Then again, that is 2015. Black cherry, plum, spice, menthol and lavender are all pushed forward. Open-knit and juicy, the 2015 will drink well upon release. Collina Dalla Valle remains one of the best values in artisan Napa Valley Cabernet.
