91-93 Scheduled to be bottled in June, the 2022 Côtes du Roussillon Les Petites Grappes is the same blend of equal parts Grenache and Carignan. Very different from the 2021, it has more red and black fruit as well as peppery herbs and violets. Rich, full-bodied, and opulent, it stays fresh and lively but is clearly a bigger, richer wine.

Baked blackberry pie, French toast and gingerbread aromas are quite heavy on the nose of this bottling. The palate is bold with roasted beef, hickory smoke and teriyaki aromas.

Winery Notes

Very refreshing on the palate. Cherry in color with notes of pomegranate, fresh strawberry, and a lingering minerality. An appetizing light-bodied red that pairs well with roasted poultry, pork, grilled vegetables, and pizza. Serve with a slight chill.
