This wine is charming, seductive and perfumed, with aromas of supple red fruit, minerals, iron, graphite, forest floor, chalk and spices. The palate is taut and refined, with long acidity, a silken mouthfeel and firm yet polished tannins. A softer, more elusive grand cru out of the nine in this village, with purity. finesse and understated energy. A fabulous wine right now, although it will age gracefully. Drink or hold.
