Pungent aromas of green fruit, citrus peel, matchstick and once again a whiff of the phenolic can be found on the attractively layered nose. There is both excellent density and power to the medium weight plus flavors that possess a taut muscularity on the impressively complex and lingering finish. As is typically the case with Poruzots, this attractive effort is not refined though refinement isn’t why one buys Poruzots.
