Here too there is enough wood to notice though in this case it’s more subtle on the fresh and bright aromas that blends notes of red and blue pinot fruit with soft earth and spice wisps. There is better volume and mid-palate density to the utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that flash unusually good power on the dusty and balanced finale. Boucherottes typically drink well young and this should as well though I underscore that it has the stuffing to repay mid-term keeping.

An expressive nose freely offers up its aromas of red and dark pinot fruit, earth and a whiff of humus, all of which is trimmed in moderate wood. The delicious, caressing and nicely vibrant flavors possess a seductive mid-palate that contrasts moderately with the sneaky long and balanced finish. This pretty effort does though need more depth as it’s a bit simple at present.
