The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village confirms the promise it showed in barrel, wafting from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries, peonies and sweet soil tones. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, supple and satiny, with succulent acids, melting tannins and a long and perfumed finish. While it’s deceptively approachable, long-time followers of this cuvée will know that it will amply reward bottle age with enhanced depth and complexity.
