88-91 There is a smoky character to the white orchard fruit and more floral-inflected aromas that exhibit a touch of matchstick. The rich, lightly stony and reasonably well-detailed medium-bodied flavors terminate in a saline, balanced, dry and lingering finale. Like the Maltroie, this isn’t especially dense and needs to develop more depth, but it is certainly pretty.
