This was aged for five years in the Caribbean and three years in Sherry casks in Spain’s Jerez region, hence the name. Look for a golden hue and vanilla and brown sugar aromas, which are echoed on the buttery palate. It evolves into a long spiced finish that reads almost like a lightly spiced vanilla cake, braced up with a hint of grapefruit peel bitter bite.

By combining traditional practices with modern technology, Spanish wineries are continuing to produce distinctive wines of great character, flavor and aroma, with the focus shifting in recent decades to quality over quantity.

Dividing the aging process into two different stages converts Dos Maderas 5+3 into a very special aged rum which is unique in the world, with a bouquet, ?avor and aromas which are hard to compare. Toasted aromas in the mouth, with hints of vanilla and nut. Extremely smooth and elegant on the nose. Serving tips: because it is an aged rum of great quality we recommend you drink it neat or with a few ice-cubes and, for the connoisseur, as the main ingredient in select cocktails.
