The Politician has a pale golden color. The aroma is fresh, with subtle notes of wood shavings, nutmeg, and tart orange zest. There are also delicate floral notes reminiscent of heather honey, along with hints of citrus fruits and candy. This is a sipping blend, with a heavy emphasis on single malt whiskies. The mouthfeel is creamy, and the flavors are floral, with a touch of cinnamon. Underlying notes of caffe latte and Highland Coo Toffee add depth and complexity. The finish is sweet and spicy, with a lingering warmth that evokes chili and pepper.
