Rated 90 - The brand new release of Brézème rouge from Éric Texier is fresh off the boat and excellent. The nose jumps from the glass in a wealth of syrah aromatic goodness, with scents of cassis, black raspberries, pepper, smoked meats, tapenade and a lovely base of limestone soil tones. O the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with a fine core, a bit of backend tannin and a long, impeccably balanced and complex finish.
