Irancy is a lesser-known appellation in Burgundy, France, located near Chablis in the Yonne department. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. It was raised 24 months in foudre after two months in stainless steel. It's a complex, beautifully textured, character-filled beauty to drink over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2041.
