Glenfiddich Scotch Single Malt 21 Year Old 750ml

Absolutely incredible nose of almond toffee, candied orange peel and tobacco along with ripe plum and sweet spice. It also suggests a faint trace of blossom and vanilla. in the mouth it is sumptuously honeyed with notes of brown sugar, baked apricot, vanilla and almond. Baked apricot lingers on a smooth, eloquent finish. (Ultimate Beverage Challenge)

Rich, sweet, and fruity with baked apples drizzled in honey, crisp white pear, honeysuckle, dried banana, vanilla fudge, and pecan pie. This works so well with the nascent Glenfiddich spirit; lime zest, vanilla, foamy meringue, honey blossom sweetness, and pepper transitioning to lime shred marmalade, soft oak, and a dry spicy finish. Vibrant, stimulating, sophisticated, and so well balanced that it never risks becoming overly sweet.

Celebrating a special birthday? Here’s your bottle: one of the few Scotches finished in Caribbean rum casks. Most of the flavor in this bright amber spirit is on the finish, with its lingering Sherried-fruit, caramel and nuts. A splash of water further amps up the flavor. Pairs well with savory game dishes as well as fruit desserts.
