The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has a lovely tertiary nose of black tea, leather and mulch-like scents. The palate is medium-bodied and finely tuned with crisp, supple tannins and a touch of black pepper on the finish. Very fine and quite youthful, this is going to offer another decade of drinking pleasure.
