Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with an ample core of fruit, bright acids and a long, saline finish, it’s a serious, structured wine that will reward bottle age, even if its mid-palate plentitude means that it will also be approachable young.

Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay.
