Vinified with whole bunches, the 2022 Cornas Jana exudes a somber, dark bouquet of dark wild berries and spices, mingled with carnal/animal-like notes. Medium to full-bodied, structured and firm, it’s robust and somewhat rustic, suggesting the presence of phenols. Despite this flaw, its fleshy core of fruit brings an allure overall.
