Jenny was awesome and refreshingly straightforward about making the wines they personally enjoy while simply hoping others connect with them too. Coming from Rodnick Farm, which they’ve worked with since the beginning, the 2025 Melon de Bourgogne is a pale silver/green hue grown on limestone soils. Fermented in stainless steel and concrete egg, it reveals aromas of lime leaf, pear, tarragon, and citrus sherbet. Medium-bodied, it has a chalky texture, purity, and freshness while still carrying enough fruit to remain highly drinkable. Lean but not austere. Drink 2026-2032.

From a high desert site in the Gabilan Mountains, neighboring Pinnacles State Park. Harvested from a south facing slope at 1,800 ft elevation on decomposed granite and limestone soils. Whole cluster pressed to concrete eggs, aged 6 months sure-lie before bottling.
