The second wine of this incredible estate, the 2021 Carillon D’Angélus is based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that was raised in 60% new French oak. It’s another gorgeous wine with a rare sense of class and elegance as well as density, offering notes of cassis, violets, spicy wood, and spring flowers. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has silky tannins, just about perfect balance, and a great finish.
