It needs a little coaxing to bring out notes of warm blackcurrants, black cherries, and mulberries, plus touches of pencil shavings and violets. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with bright, shimmery fruit, supported by fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and minerally.
