Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Rated 93 – The 2023 Morgon “Javernières” from Domaine Louis Claude Desvignes is just a touch riper than the la Voûte Saint-Vincent bottling this year, tipping the scales at fourteen percent. The wine is more black fruity in aromatic profile, wafting from the glass in a lovely blend of black cherries, dark berries, sweet stem tones, gamebird, dark soil tones, woodsmoke, peonies and a dollop of fresh thyme in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused, structured and deep and sappy at the core, with fine balance and grip, lovely nascent complexity and a long, ripely tannic and tangy finish. This will need more cellaring time than the above before it starts to drink with generosity, but it is going to be excellent with a bit of patience. 2032-2065. – View from the Cellar

90-92 The 2023 Morgon Javernieres has a deep and rounded nose, black cherries mixing with wild strawberries and oyster shells. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid, black-olive-tinged dark berry fruit, easing off toward the slightly confit-like finish. This is such a comely Morgon that it will be nearly impossible to resist in its youth.
