The 2022 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru has a more neutral nose, perhaps earlier-picked than its peers, though as a consequence, the aromatics don’t have quite the same bandwidth as others. The palate is balanced with fine depth, a little creamy and soft in texture. It is a mouth-filling Valmur, albeit one that just lacks the sample complexity and terroir expression of its peers.
