This offers a step up in aromatic elegance with its cool, pure and highly complex nose of extract of plum, violets, soft earth and red cherry. There is excellent intensity and drive to the overtly mineral-laden and impressively concentrated flavors that possess a taut muscularity before culminating in an explosively long finale. This too possesses a mild backend edginess but in this case the maturity of the tannins is more complete and this has a higher likelihood of coming together with time in bottle. (Burghound)
