Michel Rolland Mariflor Blend 2020 750ml

The 2020 Cabernet Franc-Malbec Mariflor is a 60-40 blend from Campo Los Andes in the Uco Valley and was aged for 14 months in 20% new French oak barrels. A dark garnet-red in the glass. The ripe nose offers balsamic notes of ash, green bell pepper, sour cherry and blackberry. Broad and indulgent, the wine's fine but reactive tannins contribute to producing a substantial, long-lasting red.

The distinctive dark purple colour of Malbec, enhanced by much brilliance and brightness. The intense aromas reveal the lovely varietal nuances of Cabernet Franc and the robust spicy black fruit notes of Malbec. The same complementary combination can be found on the palate, resulting in elegance, power and richness. These two grape varieties are really made for each other, creating a magical final blend.
