Very crisp, light and mineral-driven, the Monteleone 2025 Etna Bianco offers key lime, white peach, lemon leaf, sea salt, oyster shell and crushed flint. This pure Carricante is a blend of two contrasting sites: two hectares at 500 meters in elevation in Castiglione di Sicilia on Etna’s north side and one hectare at 850 meters in elevation in Sant’Alfio on the eastern slope. Fermentation is in stainless steel, and the wine rests partly in steel and partly in cement. The two sites achieve a pretty balance between salty freshness and fruit intensity. Production is 10,000 bottles.
