Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The 2024 Redoma Reserva Branco aged exclusively in 228-liter barrels—they tried fermenting it and the Coche in 500-liter barrels and didn’t like it. So, from 2023 onward, this and the Coche are fermented and aged exclusively in 228-liter barrels. They did a slightly longer élevage in barrel, one year instead of nine months before, to improve the stability of the wine, to avoid fining and filtering and to improve the quality of the wines, certainly not to increase the impact of the wood in the aromas or flavors. I love the softer and subtler profile here. Perhaps it doesn’t have the spark of the 2023 or the persistence, but it has a more ethereal side. It comes in at 12.7% alcohol, with a pH of 3.08 and 6.8 grams of acidity. 32,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2025.

Douro
The undisputed jewel in Portugal's crown is the beautiful wine region of Douro, located along the banks of the river from where it gets its name. The region itself is renowned around the world for its range of wonderfully aromatic fortified wines, as well as a wide variety of still red and white wines made from native grape varietals. Wineries in the Douro region utilize a huge amount of different local grapes for their characterful wines, but generally the most popular are made from Tinta Roriz, a rich and flavorful red wine grape related to Spain's flagship Tempranillo. However, there are plenty of different red and white grape varietals used in the region, all benefiting from the excellent hot weather and mineral rich terroir which characterizes the Douro valleys.
