Furmint is Hungary’s most renowned white grape variety, primarily associated with Tokaji Aszú, one of the world’s most famous sweet wines. An elegant version, round and creamy, with orange peel acidity enlivening a delicate mesh of apricot preserves, graham cracker, honeycomb and tarragon flavors. Winery Notes

Aromas of honey and black tea give way to peach, apricot and tropical fruit flavors in the mouth. This is a supremely focused and intense wine, yet it still delivers a creamy, hedonistic mouth feel. A pleasant apricot finish lingers. Perhaps the best Tokaji yet produced under the Vega Sicilia ownership.
