Here the wood treatment is less subtle though to be clear, it’s not invasive on the nose of pepper, earth and humus-tinged wild red currant. There is both better volume and mid-palate density to the delicious middle weight flavor that display a touch of rusticity on the more complex and longer finale that is also a bit more structured.
