91-93 This is all but aromatically mute and even aggressive swirling barely succeeds in revealing notes of earth, spice, lavender and red currant scents. There is outstanding power and punch to the voluminous and solidly concentrated broad-shouldered flavors that possess both excellent complexity and persistence on the youthfully austere finale. Like the virtually all of the wines in the range this beauty is absolutely going to require extended bottle age.
