What’s in the bottle is an Islay single malt finished in emptied tequila casks. The result is a bright, tawny orange hue and brisk, smoky aroma that unfurls from the glass alongside hints of tire rubber and maple. Peat smoke rules each sip, eventually dissipating to show a peek of toffee and burnt orange-peel beneath, winding into a peppery finish and a final smoky exhale.
