Originating from the Mediterranean, Malvasia has been cultivated for centuries, with notable plantings in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. The most common variety, Malvasia Bianca, is widely used in both dry and sweet white wines, known for their aromatic richness and complexity.
