New York Wine, Long Island
About Duck Walk Winery and Vineyard
Duck Walk Vineyards was founded in 1994 by Dr.Herodotus “Dan” Damianos and his son, Alexander. Dr. Damianos took title to the Southampton Winery, renaming it Duck Walk Vineyards. The name for his new winery was well thought out. What food is famous the world over and synonymous with Long Island? Duck, of course!
Today, Duck Walk produces more than 25,000 cases of wine from 130 acres of vineyards and is repeatedly recognized for excellence in national competitions.
