Aromas of grated nutmeg, black and red currants and wild herbs. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Fresh acidity and ripe fruit create a pleasant dynamic on the palate. Well balanced. 84% cabernet sauvignon, 7% merlot, 7% malbec and 2% petit verdot. Drink now.

I loved the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain, which is loaded with sweet red and black currant fruit as well as some classic Cabernet spice, tobacco, leather, and loamy earth notes. This medium-bodied, nicely balanced, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon has enough concentration and structure to evolve for a solid decade.

This Red Mountain designate Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend across the AVA. The aromatics are predominantly red berry fruit and oak-driven spice. Red currant, dusty ripe raspberry, clove and Christmas spice are complimented by dusty stone aromas. The palate emphasises bright red fruits, dusty cherries, baking chocolate and ample tannin, classic Red Mountain.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain is dark and understated in the glass, with nuances of black currant, dusty florals and menthol lifting from the glass. It's silky-smooth and round on the palate, showing its minerality up front. Red berries and spice give way to grippy tannins. It leaves a staining of medicinal fruit concentration while tapering off lightly structured.

Since their conception in 18th century France, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes have flourished across the Old and New Worlds and have changed the way we think about red wine forever.
