This is a classic Burgundian version of a Champagne blend-made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the cool areas around Chablis. It’s bright and fruity, tangy with lemon zest and a fine streak of minerality, and finishes with an attractive, creamy edge. Drink now.

A soft and creamy version, with a light, zesty bead and enough citrusy acidity for balance, this offers hints of apple, blanched almond and smoke. Drink now. 5,800 cases made, 2,500 cases imported.
Winery
A harmoniously balanced wine with fine bubbles, a persistent foam and a wonderful length in the mouth. It is fresh and powerful on the nose with aromas of citrus. Produced from vines with and average age of 20 years old and aged 24 months on the lees prior to bottling with a residual sugar of 7g/l. Drink this crémant as a chilled aperitif, drink as it comes or with a liqueur such as crème de cassis. Great to drink throughout the whole meal.

Varietal: Champagne Blend

The careful blending of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietal grapes has long been the secret to the success of the famous sparkling wines of the Champagne region. The wines of this region have gone down in history as the finest example of France's sparkling produce, and the methods of processing the grapes in this region have been imitated in almost every wine producing country in the world. There are actually seven different grape varietals allowed to be included in a Champagne sparkling wine, although grape varietals such as Pinot Blanc, Arbanne and Pinot Gris are used less and less commonly in its production.
