Year-in, year-out, the Tavola is one of the Willamette Valley's best values. The current vintage entices with aromas of ripe dark plums, raspberries, talc and cedar. The sweet red raspberry, lime and angel food cake flavors glide on a smooth, slippery texture.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Tavola comes from fruit sourced from lower elevation sites and younger vines that are picked a little earlier, meant to be an expression of the entire valley. It’s a ripe but transparent ruby hue and offers up perfumed aromas of red raspberry, fresh herbs and flowers, and dusty earth. Medium-bodied, with good freshness, it has fine tannins and energy throughout, as well as a clean finish. It offers a great value and is perfect for relative early drinking over the next couple of years. 12,000 cases were produced.
Winery
Beautiful aromatics of blackberry, cinnamon stick, dried cranberry and cedar jump from the glass. The mouth is supple with strawberry, balsamic reduction, lavender, thyme and cocoa powder; finishing with soft tannins laced with black licorice.

Pinot Noir grapes have been cultivated in and around the Burgundy region of France for centuries, where they have long been favored by vintners for their wide range of flavors, their thin skins and for producing wines which have light, smooth tannins, and a beautiful garnet red color Whilst they remain one of the flagship varietals of this special region, their wide popularity and recent status as a fashionable 'romantic' varietal has led to them being planted in almost every wine producing country in the world. However, the Pinot Noir demands a huge amount of care and attention from the wineries that wish to grow it, as this varietal is particularly susceptible to various forms of mildew and rot. Despite this, the grape is otherwise a favorite with wineries for the fact that it requires little extra effort once it begins fermentation. Pinot Noir is also widely known for producing some of the world's most famous sparkling wines, being one of two key grapes for the production of Champagne, and several other sparkling varieties.

The beautiful state of Oregon has, over the past few decades, become increasingly well known and respected for its wine industry, with several small but significant wineries within the state receiving world wide attention for the quality of their produce. Whilst the first vineyards within Oregon were planted in the 1840s, the state's wine industry didn't really take off until the 1960s, when several wine producers from California discovered that the cooler regions of the state were ideal for cultivating various fine grape varietals.
